If your camera doesn’t work, reloading the page should help. Then there is the question of whether you want to allow it or not.

For Android:
If you switch to the browser you are using in the system settings on your phone (e. g. Safari or Chrome), the camera settings would have to be there, there would be the recommendation to “ask every time” so that the camera is only activated if you want it to.

With reloading the page the question for the permission only comes if this is not changed in the system settings.

Change website permissions:

1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app or browser you’re using.
2. Tap the three-point menu to the right of the address bar

Organisieren

and then click on settings.
3. Select the website settings.
4. Tap camera.
5. Enable or disable access to the camera.

If you see the website you want to see under blocked, click on camera access and then allow.

Normally it should work after these steps.
If it still doesn’t work, you can try the following:
The permission for QR Code Scan can also be found in the settings of the camera app.

For Apple:
Change website permissions:

Normally, Apple smartphones only need to reload the page and the field “scan.c19t.ch wants to access the camera" is displayed. Then you can click on “Cancel” or “Allow".

If this didn’t work, there is another option:

1. Open the settings.
2. Click on Safari.
3. Scroll down and click on Camera.
4. Here you can see what is set up.

If the camera still does not work, it is possible to enter the number of your test code label manually.

The following numbers must be entered:

  1. The 2-digit number

If you have a 1-digit number please add a 0 before the number. In this example, it would be 01.

  2. The 4-digit number

    EXAMPLE: 01-D810
